On Saturday 17th September 2011, The Flowers Pub on Todmorden Road in Bacup assisted the Team with a fundraising day. The afternoon saw a charity football match on the local playing field – a competitive event with players of all ages taking part.
In the evening, Team Member Alwyn Hayes hosted a quiz with the usual mix of weird and wonderful questions. Food was provided by the pub and a hearty karaoke sing-song finished off all but the most hardened and experienced drinker - and there were a few there to test this!
