New for 2019!

Welcome to our brand new, Boulsworth Hill Dark Dash 2019! This makes up the second race in our two part Dark Dash Duo.

Start at 1900hrs sharp! The race will start from the Trawden Recreation Ground, along the tarmac for a few hundred meters, and then over the fields towards the beast that is Boulsworth Hill. The real ascent will begin just after the race route crosses over the Pennine Bridleway, making its way up to Great Saucer Stones. From here its onto the trig point, via Little Chair Stones to avoid most of the mud. Here the race begins its rapid descent. Take care when descending the steep north face of Boulsworth and meet up with the Pennine Bridleway once again. The race route heads left along the Bridleway until you turn left to head back down the same way you came up, finally finishing back at the Trawden Rec Ground.

The race is licenced by the FRA but enter at your own risk.

You must be 18+ to take part and kit requirements will be checked before registration and are as follows:- Head torch, spare batteries/torch, map (paper map provided), compass, hat, gloves, waterproof layer, small amount of food and water. MAPS WILL BE SUPPLIED ON THE NIGHT.

Please lift share where possible as parking will be a little tight. First to arrive can park at the Rec Ground, however once full the remainder of cars will park at Wycollar Village car park just down the road.

Thank you for your support, we will see you on the start line!
