Lancashire's Pendle Way is a 45-mile circular footpath ranging from limestone meadows to rugged millstone grit moorland. There are hamlets, villages and towns associated with the Pendle Witches and the Bronte’s. Steeped in mystery and folklore is Pendle Hill, the highest point around, and surrounding which are many of the villages and farms which were in some way connected with the famous witchcraft trials of the 1600's. Join us on 7th July to complete this interesting and historic walk, safe in the knowledge that if things come unstuck, we'll be there to help out. Further information about a possible half-route to follow. Available Spaces: Unlimited Visit as many point controls as you can by bike and on foot within a 5 hour time limit. There are five categories: male and female solo; male, female and mixed pairs. You navigate to each control location and each control has a value. There will also be a number of mystery challenges from which you will also gain points. You can make the event as hard or as easy as you like as there are no fixed routes.
