36: The team leader was contacted by Greater Manchester Police regarding a missing person search in the Bury area.
The thirty year old man was last seen leaving Fairfield General Hospital in Bury having self-discharged from A&E at 21.30pm the previous evening. He was believed to have consumed a large amount of cider, along with 53 anti-depressant tablets.
Team members met at 11.00am at Rochdale Old Road, Bury, where the M66 crosses, and proceeded to search areas of parkland and farmland. The man's body was found in farmland at 12.00 noon and team members were asked to remove him to a position adjacent to the tarmac road, for collection by the duty undertaker.
