71: Team was again contacted by NWAS (Lancs) to attend a patient in Trawden.
NWAS were en route to Alderhurst Head Farm, Hollin Hall, Trawden but were not expected to reach their destination due to snow conditions and the remote location of address.
A 62 year old female patient was believed to be bleeding from thyroid cancer. The patient was transferred to the NWAS ambulance using her partner’s 4x4 vehicle, just as team members were arriving on scene. We stood down at 17.15hrs.
