76: Once again, paged by the FIM on behalf of NWAS due to an ambulance unable to access Arden House, Accrington.
Mobile 3 was despatched immediately, followed by Mobile 1, once cleared from Rochdale. NWAS was unable to access the house due to ice on the ground.
The casualty, who had suffered a suspected transient ischaemic attack (TIA), which causes symptoms similar to a stroke, was transferrred to Mobile 1 and despatched to Blackburn accompanied by a paramedic.
