63: A 26-year-old man was reported missing from home.
The missing person was last seen at home in the Ewood Park area of Blackburn at around 3.00pm but was believed to have left home at around 4.45pm, intending to commit suicide. He was believed to have been carrying a substantial amount of drugs which could prove fatal if taken in quantity.
We were asked to search wooded and open areas around Ewood Park but, in the event, the police found the misper wandering the streets close to his home, prior to team members deploying. Two dog handlers from neighbouring Bowland Pennine MRT were asked to attend with their trailing and air scenting dogs but were stood down en route.
Team members stood down 21.30hrs.
