77: A 77 year old male was reported to have fallen at the top of the steps on Pendle Hill (SD805418).
Team members were mobilised along with an NWAS ambulance and the North West Air Ambulance.
The patient was treated by the air ambulance crew for lacerations to his shin and a possible fractured tibia. Team members then carried him to the top of Pendle Hill where he was put into the air ambulance.
We offered to escort the remaining three members of the party off the hill but this was declined and the team stood down at 16.00hrs.
