We were contacted by GMP requesting assistance with the rescue of a dog, cragfast at Whitworth, after it had run along a ledge in a disused quarry and become stuck.
The owner had been trying to rescue the animal for three hours. Team members abseiled down to the dog and it was put into a sling and brought down.
