26: The team leader was contacted by Oldham MRT team leader regarding an incident at Broadhalgh Avenue, Bamford, Rochdale.
He subsequently contacted North West Ambulance Service (Manchester) and was asked to send team members to assist the ambulance crew. A 79 year old male had slipped whilst out walking, with a suspected fractured/dislocated hip. Helimed air ambulance crew treated the casualty, who was then transported by Bell stretcher to land ambulance, for onward transfer to Rochdale Infirmary.
