Team receives £3000+ donation from Raynet

The cheque for £3240 was the result of Rossendale Raynet disbanding and selling their assets, and will be used for the servicing, replacement or enhancement of our current communications facilities.

Over the last 25 to 30 years, Rossendale Raynet has provided communication for all sorts of events throughout the Lancashire area, very often working with the team at our regular fundraising walks. Most notably they attended the Lockerbie disaster in 1988, providing vital communications when the normal systems became overloaded. If you need any more info about Raynet I am sure Iain would oblige.

The presentation took place at our base in Clegg Street. From left to right, Neil Woodhead, Treasurer RPMRT; Andy Simpson, Team Leader RPMRT; Bernard Murray, Treasurer Raynet; and Iain Groom, Controller Raynet.
