Team attends Knowl Hill Fell Race

We were on hand for the race on Sunday, 13 June to assist with any injuries.

Thankfully there were none! The race is organised by Rochdale Harriers as part of their annual three day event. Friday evening saw the runners complete a six mile road race, followed by a six mile multi-terrain race on Saturday morning.

The event then finished with the six mile fell race which climbs 1,300 feet and passes through stunning scenery above and around the four Naden and Greenbank reservoirs above Norden.

Team members were on hand around the course and then at the finish line to welcome the runners back. The final runner was our very own Mick Brooks – 'Forest' to his friends – who decided to run the second half of the course complete with his full rucksack, after being stationed at the summit of Knowl Hill!
