WERE BACK FOR ANOTHER DASH!

The Pendle Hill Dark Dash is back! After two successful years, we are delighted to announce that his year the Pendle Hill race is the first part of a two part race series, so look out for the brand new Boulsworth Hill Dark Dash on the 3rd April! This year we are boasting more prizes for racers, and as always, we would like to say a massive thank you for your support thus far! Good luck!

Start at 1900hrs sharp! As previous years, the race starts off in Barley, taking the direct route up to the foot of Pendle, where runners will take on the MIGHTY Pendle Hill Steps. Once the steps have been negotiated, its onto the trig point. From the trig the race route follows the stone slabs over the Moore land, towards Ogden Clough. The race route crosses over its first river and handrails along it deeper into Ogden Clough. Ground now becomes steep as it drops down to meet the river for a second time. Across the river and over the fields, the race route hits Ogden Clough upper reservoir where runners follow the tarmacked road back to Barley and the finish line. Mountain Rescue Team members will be placed strategically along the route and never too far away at any time.

The race is licenced by the FRA but enter at your own risk.

You must be 18+ to take part and kit requirements will be checked before registration and are as follows:- Head torch, spare batteries/torch, map (paper map provided), compass, hat, gloves, waterproof layer, small amount of food and water. MAPS WILL BE SUPPLIED ON THE NIGHT.

Please lift share where possible and pay a pound at the Barley Car Park.

Thankyou for your support, we will see you on the start line!
