  • On average, each incident accounted for 37 hours and 10 minutes person hours (28 hours 20 minutes in 2007; 31 hours in 2006).
  • On average, 10.4 team members attended each incident (10.5 in 2007; 10 in 2006).
  • Of the 47 people who were subjects in the year's incidents (49 in 2007; 39 in 2006 :–
    • 28 were male adults (27 in 2007; 20 in 2006).
    • 13 were female adults (11 in 2007; 11 in 2006).
    • 3 were male children (9 in 2007; 7 in 2006).
    • 3 were female children (2 in 2007; 1 in 2006).
  • There were no animal incidents (1 dog in 2007; 1 ewe in 2006).
  • The team attended 5 separate fatal incidents (8 in 2007; 8 in 2006).
  • The fatalities were 4 male adults and 1 female adult (8 male in 2007; 5 male, 1 female, 2 male child in 2006).

  • There was also one animal, a dog, involved in a rescue (1 ewe in 2006).
  • The team attended 8 separate fatal incidents (8 in 2006). The fatalities were all adult males (2006 – 5 adult males, 1 adult female and 2 male children).
