CALL OUT 10

The team was called out this afternoon (Sunday 9th Feb). Unfortunately no further information can be released due to the sensitive nature of this incident.

Following the call out the team have been out to various locations across our area to assist with flooding and water incidents caused by Storm Ciara.

At that time, there were 70 flood alerts in places across Lancashire and over 225 throughout the UK.

The picture shows how dangerous the River Irwell can be after heavy rain fall.
