CALLOUT 43

The team was contacted at around 15:15 yesterday to assist the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust (NWAS) with a casualty who had suffered a lower leg injury on Pendle Hill.

Team members were deployed to the scene where the casualty was met on the top section of the miner’s track. The casualty’s leg was splinted, before being assisted into one of our vehicles and conveyed off the hill and handed over to the awaiting ambulance.
