Shortly before 2:30 p.m. yesterday (Sun 8/2/26), the team were contacted by the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust (NWAS) to assist with a casualty who had come off their bike in the area of Brungerley Park, Clitheroe.
The casualty had sustained a lower limb injury and required assistance to be moved safely from the scene to the main road. Team members were deployed, along with one of our response vehicles, to assist.
Our 4×4 vehicle was able to get close to the location, and using our casualty bag, bell stretcher and wheel, we safely transported the casualty to our vehicle before conveying them to the waiting ambulance at the road.
Thanks to the casualty’s family and friends for keeping him warm and providing initial first aid before our arrival, and we wish the casualty a speedy recovery.
