On Saturday morning (11:36 2/5/26), the team were contacted by the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust (NWAS) to assist with an injured biker on the track to Hameldon weather station.
The casualty had suffered a lower leg injury. Team members were deployed and arrived on scene along with the North West Air Ambulance Charity (NWAA). The NWAA crew provided medical care and pain relief to stabilise and splint the injury, before the team’s ATV was utilised to transport the casualty back to the ambulance for onward transportation to the hospital.
