Yesterday afternoon (2/3/26), the team were contacted by Lancashire Police following reports of an injured walker near Twiston, Pendle Hill.
Team members were deployed and made their way to the casualty who had suffered a lower leg injury whilst out on a guided walk. Team members assisted in keeping the casualty warm whilst equipment was taken to the location.
The casualty was provided pain relief and the limb splinted before being placed onto the bell and wheel for evacuation to the waiting ambulance at the road.
We wish the casualty a speedy recovery.
