CALLOUT UPDATES
A flurry of callouts has continued over the weekend, with four deployments for the team in the last four days (Callout #25 mentioned earlier in the week!) supporting the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust
Callout #26
On Friday early afternoon, the team were requested to assist with reports of a casualty who had passed out and was vomiting in the area of Scout Moor. The team were deployed and, on arrival, could not locate the casualty at the location provided. Fortunately, as further details emerged, it was confirmed that utility workers had conveyed the casualty to an ambulance in the area, and they were receiving the support and care required.
Callout #27
On Saturday lunchtime, the team was deployed to a multi-agency incident near the Aspinall Arms. Team members were on scene for several hours working alongside the Police, Fire, Ambulance and Air Ambulance teams. Due to the nature of the incident, no further details will be released by the team.
Callout #28
On Sunday morning, the team were requested to assist a casualty who had suffered a seizure on Pendle Hill. Details were confirmed that they were approximately halfway up the steps. After the casualty was assessed by the NWAS crew, team members then stretchered them down to the awaiting ambulance.
A special thanks to the members of the public and other local team members who offered assistance on these callouts.
