As the cold start to the year continues, the team were deployed twice yesterday (10/02/21) to assist the North West Ambulance Service PTS (Patient Transfer Service). They requested our assistance with the transfer of a patient from their home on the moors where the snow and ice prevent standard vehicles from gaining access.
The team used the Hilux to make easy work through the snow and ice to be able to ensure these patients could be handed over to the PTS vehicle and attend vital medical appointments.

As always the team continue to be on-call and available 24/7 to assist those in need throughout the local community.
