The race is a head torch race of approximately 8km climb to the top of Pendle Hill and will be marshaled by mountain rescue team members. The route will be partially marked and runners will need to come equipped with a waterproof jacket (integral hood and taped seams), waterproof trousers (taped seams), hat, gloves, head torch, whistle, compass, and map (OL21 or print out of Pendle Hill at 1:25k) plus a bumbag/small rucksack to carry them.

Entrants must be over 18 years old and comply with the FRA Requirements for Runners (see Fellrunner.org.uk for details).
